Founded by Sara Pérez and René Barbier, children of two Priorat legends, Venus La Universal is their passion project nestled in Montsant, Catalonia, Spain. Rather than treading Priorat’s well-worn path, they chose Montsant’s cooler, elegant terroir to create wines that show femininity, mystery, and beauty, inspired by the goddess Venus. They work organically, partnering with four local growers to tend vineyards in Falset with rigorous ecological standards, resulting in refined and terrior-driven wines. Each bottle reveals grace, balance, and an emotional connection to its land.
