The Matrot family has made wine in Meursault since 1835; sisters Elsa and Adèle now run the domaine, which has been farmed organically since 2000. Blagny, the hamlet in the hills above Meursault and Puligny, makes rare, mineral Premier Cru Pinot Noir.
