The inaugural wine by Bryan Babbitt (Bottles With Babbitt), “M1” was carefully selected and crafted to be a rich Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Grown east of St. Helena on the slopes of Howell Mountain, this wine perfectly blends the fruit-forward notes of St. Helena with the earthiness from the volcanic soil of Howell Mountain.

Dedicated to his late mother (Auggie), the teal band pays homage to her battle with ovarian cancer and is a tribute to her love of science and pursuing passions in life.

Bottles with Babbitt: Your Friend in Napa Valley Wine

Hey there! If you’re dreaming of a trip to Napa Valley but feel a bit overwhelmed by the endless options, let me introduce you to Bottles with Babbitt. It’s basically your new best friend for wine country, run by Bryan Babbitt, a Certified Sommelier (and yes, also an aerospace engineer who builds drones!) based right here in San Diego.

"In that moment, under the stars and the shimmering lights of the tower, I realized that wine wasn’t meant to be intimidating; it was meant to be memorable." - Bryan Babbitt

Bryan started this whole adventure back in 2022 because he felt wine tourism could be way less stuffy and way more fun. He’s not just sitting behind a desk, either. He’s been out there living it, racking up over 115 unique winery experiences and 90 tasting tours across the world (with a majority of those in Napa Valley). He knows the nooks, the crannies, the secret spots, and the people that make Napa so special.

No Stress, Just Good Food & Wine

Bryan handles the headache. You know how hard it is to get reservations at the good spots? He'll sort all that out for you so you can focus on you.

Whether you want a DIY guide to explore on your own or a fully planned-out day with a driver, lunch reservations, and tastings lined up, he’s got you covered. His vibe is totally chill. He’s not there to lecture you with fancy jargon. He just wants to share cool wines, tell you why they taste the way they do, and make sure you have a blast; he'll know exactly which ones will fit your style.

Why Bother with a Guide?

Look, you could just drive up and knock on random doors, but why risk your time and money? Bryan has vetted over 50 wineries and knows which ones have the best wine and the best time. With Bottles with Babbitt, you get an insider’s look. Bryan’s dual brain as an engineer and a sommelier means your trip will be perfectly organized but also full of heart.

It’s perfect if you’re new to wine and feel intimidated, or if you’re a total pro but haven't been to Napa who just wants to skip the tourist traps and find something new.

Got Questions? I’ve Got Answers.

1. Who is Bryan Babbitt? He’s a Certified Sommelier and a geeky (but totally normal) aerospace engineer from San Diego who loves wine almost as much as he loves drones (or more....don't tell his employer). He’s the guy behind the brand!

2. What exactly does he do? He plans custom wine trips to Napa Valley. Think of him as your personal travel agent for wine, handling everything from picking the wineries to booking your lunch. Napa has gotten expensive. Don't risk spending your precious time and money on the wrong winery for you.

3. How many places has he actually been to? He’s been to over 115 winery experiences and visited more than 90 different wineries. He’s done the legwork so you don’t have to. Literally, just think about how many glasses of wine he HAD to drink for you...

4. Is this only for rich wine snobs? Not at all! Bryan’s whole thing is making wine approachable. Whether you spend $20 a bottle or $200, he’s there to help you get the most out of it.

5. Can I just get a list of places to go? Yep! If you want to drive yourself and just need a solid plan, he offers DIY itinerary guides.

6. What if I want the full VIP treatment? He does that too. The advanced packages include reservations and the whole nine yards so you can just relax.

7. Does he know the hidden gems? Absolutely. Because he’s been to so many spots, he knows the small, family-run places that big tour buses never stop at. They literally can't get down the small dirt roads...

8. Is he based in Napa? He lives in San Diego but spends a ton of time in Napa and has a second home there. He knows the area like the back of his hand.

9. Can we talk about food too? Yes! Wine is better with food. He’ll recommend (and book) great spots to eat that pair perfectly with your tastings.

10. How do I book? Just head over to the Bottles with Babbitt website or shoot him an email at Info@BottlesWithBabbitt.com. He’s super responsive and ready to help plan your next adventure.
