2023 Shell Creek Vineyard Valdiguié, Paso Robles Highlands District
From one of San Luis Obispo County's pioneering vineyards, planted in 1972. This Valdiguié block, established in 1997, grows beneath limestone cliffs rich with marine fossils on this historic sixth-generation family farm.
Native yeast fermentation with 100% whole clusters creates a vibrant carbonic expression. The wine bursts with fresh strawberries, crunchy rhubarb, cinnamon, and watermelon candy notes. Exceptionally light and energetic - a true "glou-glou" style.
Organically farmed. 11.7% ABV. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur. 408 cases produced.
2023 Presqu'ile Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, Santa Maria Valley
Sourced from ancient sand dunes at the southwestern edge of Santa Maria Valley, where daily fog and ocean winds create one of California's longest growing seasons. The unique east-west valley formation channels cool Pacific influences directly to the vines.
Native fermentation in neutral oak with extended lees aging produces a wine of both intensity and finesse. Zesty citrus, passionfruit, and gooseberry notes intertwine with fresh white flowers, carried by vibrant acidity to a lengthy finish.
12.5% ABV. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur. 96 cases produced.
2023 Two Wolves Vineyard Rosé of Grenache, Los Olivos
A purposeful, Provençal-inspired rosé from south-facing Grenache vines planted in 2010. The dense shaley clay loam soils of this site just outside Happy Canyon provide perfect conditions for this thoughtful expression.
Gentle foot treading followed by a brief hour-long soak before pressing creates a wine of delicacy and precision. Pink lemonade and rose petals lead to bursts of raspberry and pomegranate, underscored by distinct mineral tones.
12.5% ABV. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur. 96 cases produced.
2021 Bassi Vineyard Chardonnay, San Luis Obispo Coast
A pure coastal expression from vines grown just over a mile from the Pacific. This organically farmed site, planted in 2001 on marine sandstone and sandy loam, embraces biodynamic practices while fully exposed to ocean fog and wind.
Whole cluster pressed and fermented naturally in neutral oak with 10 months undisturbed lees contact. White flowers and flinty minerality complement juicy Meyer lemon and orchard fruits, all structured by bright, coastal acidity.
12.5% ABV. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur. 120 cases produced.
